Howdy!

I hope that everyone's new year is off to a great start!

After ending the year with a bang, due to Amazon Kindle's inclusion of "Plague of Coins" in their "100 books for under $3.99" promotion for December, I wasn't sure what would happen when the calendar clicked over to January. But, thanks to the incredible response to the Epic Kindle Giveaway event, January is turning out to be an even better month in the book biz than December...

Seasons Greetings!

I'm sure that I speak for a lot of us when I say this year has really flown by. October and November have been insanely busy, largely on account of my self-imposed book deadlines. Of course, being busy is often compounded by my obsessive need to correct finished books immediately, whenever my readership advises of mistakes, grammar errors, etc. Yes, I'm poking fun at my little quirks.

Word of mouth continues to push it up the Kindle charts—which I am supremely grateful for. Let me stop here to offer a hearty 'Thank you!' to all who have had a hand in the book's success....

Greetings again, everyone!

September is here, and my hope is that everyone is finally getting a breather from the summer's relentless heat (a lot of heat records were broken in August across the United States).

For me personally, August proved to be a very busy and challenging month in terms of writing, promotion, adjusting to being my own boss—and not driving my family crazy with my continual presence at home....

Howdy, everyone!

Well, the first month of my voyage into independence as a full-time writer has been quite an experience…and a success! Being able to work professionally at what one loves to do is an incredible feeling. Most of us writers have to hold down some kind of day job, which forces us to fight for whatever opportunity to express our ideas we can find. Usually it means giving up something else that's personally important, like sleep, exercise, or recreational time. So, I give thanks every day that the thing that pays the bills is now in fact the thing I love to do....
